WWII Links

The 459th website was conceived by Reid Waltman and in partnership with the Army Air Corps Library and Museum the site was launched. For many years until health issues have restricted him he was the webmaster entering an enormous amount of data and communicating with those who made inquiries to the site.

The Army Air Corps Museum continues to maintain and operate the website as one of our family of websites dedicated to many veteran units. In 2020, we have finished a re-design of the website making it mobile-friendly. As of July 4, 2000 the website has accounted for over 5700 men who served with the 459th.
